The Graduate Choir NZ presents music to mark the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
With Marian music that will touch the soul, this recital will feature Arvo Pärt's beautiful setting of the Magnificat and Poulenc’s hauntingly evocative Litanies to the Black Madonna, along with gems of choral literature dedicated to Our Lady.
The concert includes works by New Zealand composers David Griffiths and Chris Artley.
Featuring tenor Amitai Pati (winner, Lexus Song Quest 2012). Guest artists also include the Junior Choir from Sacred Heart College and Philip Smith (organ).
