Our 2011 season culminates with Voices of Aotearoa, an innovative programme exploring New Zealand's heritage, presented by Voices New Zealand Chamber Choir. Experience the vibrancy of New Zealand's premier chamber choir, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the spine-tingling sounds of Aotearoa.
Led by Artistic Director Dr Karen Grylls, Voices New Zealand Chamber Choir are New Zealand's first nationally selected chamber choir. Hailed as a "brilliant professional chamber choir" by The Guardian and as a "force to reckon with internationally" by The New Zealand Herald, Voices have quickly established a reputation for international excellence since their formation, including winning gold and silver awards at the Tolosa International Choral Competition in Spain. In August 2011, Voices represented New Zealand at the World Choral Symposium in Patagonia, where they performed Voices of Aotearoa.
