This Choral Evensong will be a special service celebrating the 90th birthday of the Very Reverend David Dunningham, who has chosen the choral music, organ voluntaries and readings. Father David has been a staunch supporter of Musica Sacra since the day of its foundation in 1998 and we are pleased to celebrate this milestone with him.
The music will include a second Auckland performance of Dr John Wells' spectacular Musica Sacra Canticles (Set One), commissioned by the choir with the assistance of the Donny Charitable Trust as part of our Tenth Anniversary Season in 2008.
