"Annea Lockwood":http://sounz.org.nz/contributor/composer/1064 is known for her explorations of the rich world of natural acoustic sounds and environments, in works ranging from sound art and installations, through text-sound and performance art to concert music.
Her work Piano Burning, part of the Piano Transplants series, continues to evoke strong reactions even more than 40 years after its first performance. Lockwood will be in residence at the Campbelltown Arts Centre during which she will supervise the installation of selected Piano Transplants, including Piano Burning. Presented by Campbelltown Arts Centre and Aurora Festival.
