In this concert (repeated tomorrow afternoon) the Manukau Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Uwe Grodd, will premiere Flight, a work they commissioned from David Hamilton. Sharing the programme are Nino Rota's Piano Concerto (soloist: Christoper Hinterhuber) and Beethoven's 5th Symphony in c minor.
