Central Landscapes: 2

This concert from the Central Otago Regional Orchestra, conducted by Aart Brusse, also includes Central Landscapes following it's premiere in Cromwell last night. The new work from Gillian Whitehead is an orchestral arrangement of five piano pieces she composed during her "residency at Henderson House, Alexandra":http://sounz.org.nz/news_articles/show/171 this year.

The remainder of the programme ranges from Schubert to Tchaikovsky and, as the Central Otago Regional Training Orchestra joins in, from Traditional Scottish music to Carole King.
