Breath of Wind is a sound and video work from Phil Dadson featuring 17 hot air balloons and the Levin Brass Band. The images and sounds of the band performing whilst airborne are projected via two-channel video and sound into the viewing space.
Phil Dadson is one of New Zealand’s most innovative inter-media artists and experimental music composers. His sculptural synaesthesia of sound, video/film and installation has been resonating throughout the national and international art world since the early 1970s.
