"Eclectic. Electric. Acoustic.":http://sounz.org.nz/news_articles/show/188
This annual concert celebrating the best of New Zealand music features new and old works – all with electroacoustic elements. From Douglas Lilburn's moving setting of Allen Curnow's poem Landfall in Unknown Seas, which will be narrated by Bill Manhire to new works by Jack Body (My Name is Mok Bhon) and Lissa Meridan (a quiet fury), this concert will be a fascinating aural and historical journey.
To complete the evening, members of the audience are invited to stay on in the auditorium after the concert to listen to a selection of New Zealand electroacoustic works. "Michael Norris":http://sounz.org.nz/contributor/composer/1197 will be in charge of the electroacoustics.
