Musica Sacra's final performance in its tenth anniversary season will be our ever-popular annual Christmas Concert. As last year, this will be a FREE concert, with retiring donations.
The programme will include a wide range of favourite Christmas music ranging from the medieval Coventry Carol through to the present day with Sir John Tavener's haunting The Lamb. There will be several opportunities for the audience to join in singing some traditional Christmas Carols.
Organist, Dr John Wells, will give the premiere performance of his new solo organ work Metamorphoses on a Noel, a set of five short, light-hearted variations that pokes gentle fun at the classical French Noel and explores the colours of the organ.
