Biography
Frank Wregglesworth was born in Kaitangata. During his Primary School years, hestudied the Trinity Grades in practical and theory. At High School he was the church organist for the Anglican Church and later attended Dunedin Teachers' College.
While Principal of Ruahine School in Southern Hawkes Bay, he was the official accompanist for the massed school choirs festivals for seven years. His Prelude 10 was played at "the Carnaval of New Music" in Delmenhorst, Germany in 1991 and was also played several times over Radio Bremen. In 1994 he won "The Hawkes Bay Original Music and Songwriter's Awards", classical section with Andante Cantabile. The majority of his 600 compositions have been performed at Wine bars in Hastings and Napier.
