A Wild Sea for the Crossing is a set of 3 poems by Greg O’Brien – 1. Winter I was (from Winter I Was, published in 1999 by Victoria University Press – a traditional song), 2. The cage is a song in which the bird is sung (from afternoon of an evening train, published in 2005 by Victoria University Press) and 3. Russian Grave Menton (from afternoon of an evening train).
