Wynken, Blynken and Nod

This lullaby of sorts for mixed chorus was written in response to the Choirs Aotearoa NZ - Compose Aotearoa competition in 2021.

Based on the poem by Eugene Field, the piece paints the story of the three travelers on their night time journey. Aimed at experienced voices, the work aims to incorporate some interests for the singer and keep the audience attentive.

Wynken, Blynken and Nod received a Highly Commended result in the Open Category of the competition.
