Se Godar is a traditional song shown to John Rae by Iranian musician Reza Mahini. John says, “I met Reza at a concert he performed at Te Papa in 2012. I introduced myself after the concert and asked if he had any time to come and ‘jam’ with myself and some of the musicians from The Troubles the following day. He very kindly agreed and with other members of his group showed us this song."
