About
Siteswap is a notation system for juggling, which maps the movement of objects in various patterns. In my work, this describes the co-ordination required to keep a myriad of contrapuntal layers in orbit – something particularly virtuosic for a solo performer. Siteswap was composed with funding from Creative New Zealand for horn player Saar Berger, whose breathtaking ability and expertise proved essential to its composition.
