Cheryl often delivers composing workshops at the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield, and from the windows of the gallery you can see the Medieval Chantry Chapel in the middle of the old bridge over the River Calder. After researching the varied history of this chapel, Cheryl wrote a single line song to be performed by winter workshop goers at the gallery, and designed it to fit with the Yorkshire melody for the traditional carol The Holly And The Ivy. This arrangement for choir with piano uses both songs in close juxtaposition. -CC
