This album celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Kokatahi Band, a group formed by West Coast labourers, farmers, millers and builders between 1910-1912. The band sports a traditional settler-style uniform and utilizes a variety of instruments including button accordions, violins, harmonicas, banjos and percussion.
