In this second concert tour of Subscription Series 1, the NZSO will include performances of the newly commissioned Bonk by "Peter Scholes":/contributor/composer/1086 , a work for percussion and orchestra, which will feature Emeritus Principal Percussionist, Bruce McKinnon.
The programme, conducted by Dmitri Sitkovetsky, also includes Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto (soloist Baiba Skride) and Brahms Symphony No. 1 .
