The Christchurch Symphony Orchestra are conducted by Tom Wood in this programme which includes the premiere of a newly commissioned work by Robin Toan.
The concert also features French pianist Emmanuel Despax performing Schumann's Piano Concerto, Op. 54, a minor, Rautavvara's Cantus Arcticus (Concerto for Birds and Orchestra) and Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony, No 6.
