About

This work was intended to feature something of New Zealand's spirit and is a 'deconstructed' version of Now is the Hour.

Commissioned note

The third work in the Spirit of Place commission (2005-2015) - a five minute work for performance before the 2008 Dawn Service Commemoration at Gallipoli. The ten works created over these years will be reworked into a major musical event for the 100th Commemoration in 2015.
