Recording

The musicians of the New Zealand Piano Quartet perform music by Anthony Ritchie, one of New Zealand’s most skilled and prolific composers. This album samples Ritchie’s output from 1994 – 2005 and those musicals styles that he has recently used. Such styles include the modal-based writing of the sonatas to that of those newer works Oppositions and Piano Trio that are, by comparison, mathematically informed.
