- Jonathan Besser: Lands of our Fathers - my African Legacy
CD
Lands of our Fathers is the highly sought soundtrack to the documentary exploring racial identity and the legacies of colonialism both in Zimbabwe and New Zealand. This collaboration beautifully blends strands from each culture explored and its music. Oliver Mtukudzi brings to us musical influences of his native Zimbabwe; Whirimako Black her own distinctive style in Te Reo; while Jonathan Besser effortlessly adds his own touch making these styles cohesive and simultaneously descriptive.
