Michael Williams: The Prodigal Child |
Alan Riach’s libretto of the The Prodigal Child set to music by Michael Williams. The story concerns the lives of Anna, Mary, and Albert, each character in a crisis and fostering an increasingly pessimistic outlook on life. As connections reveal themselves, the characters are able to confront life with newfoud hope. The Prodigal Child was first realised as part of the Wild Opera project, and has since received numerous performances.
