2009 is the New Zealand Youth Choir’s 30th Anniversary year. To celebrate, the current NZYC will tour to Kapiti, Palmerston North and Wellington rehearsing and performing a concert in each venue, including this special 30th Anniversary Concert. In this concert the current choir will be joined by alumni and former conductors Guy Jansen and Prof. Peter Godfrey.

The 2008-2010 NZ Youth Choir was selected from auditions held nationwide in December 2007, and includes returning members from the award-winning 2007 Choir, as well as new singers. Concerts will be conducted by the Choir’s Artistic Director, Dr Karen Grylls, and feature works by NZ and international composers.
