About

Castle Hill in the Canterbury region is home to grand limestone rocks that have been eroded by water to form these unique and distinctive landforms. The piece portrays how there are different formations of the rocks, some that are minuscule and some that are large and dense. This can be represented using different sizes of instruments and the diverse textures within the orchestra.
