About

This piece was conceived and initially 'sketched out' on a lazy Sunday afternoon, Easter weekend 2017.

The Harmonic structure of the piece is based on my 'Chromatic Chaconne' System. In my 'Chromatic Chaconne' music, I choose a 3 chord sequence and once this sequence is played the music transposes 'up a key'. For instance chords 'D C F#' move to 'Eb Db G'.

Although the piece is highly Chromatic moving through all 12 keys the harmonic changes happen over a long time period and the chords remain simple major and minor chords, so the music never sounds restless or unfamiliar.
