This piece was written in January 1994. Originally scored for soprano, flute and harp, it was slightly revised in April 1999.
It was first performed by Lindsay Clarke (soprano), Jan Lumley (flute) and Maxine Molam (harp) at Christ Church, Oswestry in April 1995 at a concert to mark the composer's 75th birthday.
