Jenny McCleod’s brand new commission for the New Zealand Chamber Soloists, Dark Bright Night, will be premiered on Sunday 28th March in the Concert Chamber at Auckland Town Hall. It gives title and sets the tone for the whole concert programme which features brooding and dramatic works by Beethoven and Brahms.
Dark Bright Night is the second piece in NZCS’s unique 7 x 7 project: raising commissions for seven acclaimed New Zealand women composers, each to create a brand new seven-minute piano trio.
