Biography

The phenomenally talented Linn Lorkin has performed all over the world. A singer, pianist and actress, Lorkin has featured with her own trio at the famed Ronnie Scott's jazz club in London and regularly tours in Europe and Australia as the lead singer in The Jews Brothers Band and French Toast. The Jews Brothers Band celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2015. Her theatre credits include several years of experimental theatre and more recently, the performance of shows about different slices of her life, musical autobiographies. She sings in several languages and has recorded a number of albums for her own label, Rouge Records, both as a solo performer and as part of the aforementioned groups. Family at the Beach which features in Hey, Piano Bar Lady! was voted Best Kiwi Summer Song in a New Zealand Radio listeners' poll.
