Programme Note

Following a request from the composer’s daughter, Norine, for a short piece for trio – violin, viola and cello – It Takes Three to Tango eventuated. The piece was performed at an in-house concert of the New Plymouth Orchestra (Taranaki, NZ) – the audience consisting of players and their families and friends. The music is in simple three-part form. It was well received with compliments from audience members and it was hoped that it would be heard again sometime.
