Programme Note
In Impression I quote from a folksong of the Yi-Zu minority of China. This song becomes the reflective moment of the piece, but also the apathetic and indifferent element which stays neutral regardless of the activity surrounding it.
This piece pays homage to Nathanael Johannes Ta Wei Dejong.
