Programme Note

In Their Light explores the element of light through different emotions. The title connects that idea with the premiere occasion, a fundraising event for children with autism.

When writing this work, I was very aware of making it both challenging, rewarding and enjoyable for players and all audiences alike.

In Their Light was written for Alexandros Pappas and the Gruppetto Quartet, during June and July 2008, encouraging a long and successful friendship.
