Programme Note
Whanau is a collaboration with Piahana Tahapehi and Tearoha Kahi for electric band, Maori choir and string quartet. It was commissioned for the 3ZM New Zealand Universities Arts Festival and performed at the Christchurch Town Hall, and recorded by TVNZ for Radio with Pictures, Pacific Viewpoint and Kaleidoscope.
