Passchendaele is dedicated to all those New Zealand men who died in the Great War, the terribly misnamed War To End All Wars. To those who died fighting. Those who died from their wounds – sometimes years after. Those who didn’t want to fight but felt it was their duty. To those who found courage on the battlefield. To those who found fear. To the fathers, husbands, sons, brothers, cousins and friends who lost their lives.
