The New Zealand Film Archive’s On Disk library of moving images resources links directly to topic areas in the New Zealand school curriculum. Programme elements have been obtained from official and unofficial sources: television advertising, newsreels, documentary, current affairs programming, amateur footage, early silent, experimental film, music videos, ethnographic footage, travelogues, feature film and animation.

The excerpts from films, documentaries, Arts programmes and and news items featured on this DVD resource span four decades, from the 1960’s through to 2005. The New Zealand composers featured are: Anna Lockwood, Gillian Bibby, Phil Dadson, John Psathas, Jack Body, Dan Poynton, Richard Nunns, Chris Cree Brown, Bevan Smith, Gareth Farr, Pitch Black, John Lake, Stephen Glover and Campbell Neale.
