Gitbox has evolved out of Gitbox Rebellion (formed in 1986), an acoustic guitar ensemble which varied in size between nine and thirteen. The four original members Nigel Gavin, Kim Halliday, Russell Hughes and Jonathan Pease perform on this album with guest multi-instrumentalists Duncan Haynes, Sarah Gregory, Jim Langabeer, Babu Chatterji and Peter Koopman.
