The Vector Wellington Orchestra have recorded their exciting programme that featured as part of the centennial celebrations for the Wellington Town Hall. Conducted by Kenneth Young, and featuring the colourful percussion ensemble Strike, with works by Lilburn, Pruden and Farr, this DVD recognises the city’s special connection with music and the significance of this within a broader development of a national identity and culture.
