SOUND TRACKS maps a sequence of solo improvisations on a range of invented instruments, with track titles – Gloop, Peel the Unseen, To a Circular Mirror, Laced Cool, – as intriguing and evocative as the instruments themselves; longstring Zitherum (3 metre long zither / drum combination), Gloopdrum (single string and drum-membrane resonator), Nundrum (a modified bass-drum resonator with multiple threaded rods), song/stones, overtone-vocals and headrush pedal."
