Another of Kiwi Pacific Records’ New Zealand Composer Editions, this cassette showcases the work of Ashley Heenan, played by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. War and Peace is the music for a radio adaptation of the Alfred Neuman dramatisation of Tolstoy’s great drama, whilst Jack Winter’s Dream is Heenan’s original music for the radio play of the same name, reworked into an orchestral piece in its own right.
