- Snapshots: A cappella choral favourites
CD
This millennium-inspired retrospective of Viva Voce’s work to date includes, amongst the Lassus, Strauss et al., a song cycle by Anthony Ritchie and ‘Three Spirituals’ by David Hamilton. Anthony Ritchie’s ‘As Long As Time’ is based on texts by New Zealand poets Cilla McQueen, Rachel McAlpine and Sam Hunt, while David Hamilton’s gospel-influenced songs were commissioned by renowned choral conductor, Peter Godfrey. Also on the disc is an arrangement by Christopher Marshall of Tom Lehrer’s ‘I hold your hand in mine.’
