Recording

Upon their triumphant return from the New York Lincoln Centre Universities Choral Festival in 1972 under the direction of Peter Godfrey, the University of Auckland Festival Choir made these recordings containing choral works by some of New Zealand’s most influential composers including Jack Body, David Farqhuar, and Gillian Whitehead. Compiled in 1998 with two new tracks recorded by the Auckland University Singers, this is a collection that showcases the strength and diversity of New Zealand choral writing and performance.
