SOUNZfine Volume 3 is a collection of shorter works by a dozen New Zealand composers. The pieces blend European musical styles with Maori, Pacific, Asian and Eastern music demonstrating the diversity of influences found in the music of New Zealand composers. It is accompanied by a short article by William Dart. The SOUNZfine series is a set of promotional CDs intended to encourage the broadcast of New Zealand music, particularly internationally.
