- Susan Frykberg: Astonishing Sense
CD
This CD, performed, recorded and realised in Canada, was reviewed by Anna Rubin in the Computer Music Journal Winter 1999, as “a tour de force in both composition and subject; nearly all of the powerfully evocative works are based on the experience of pregnancy and birth … sumptuous and dynamic sound textures throughout.”
George Zahora in his review for Splendidezine concluded his review saying: “There simply isn’t enough space here to adequately address the merits of Astonishing Sense – I encourage you to try it for yourself.”
