  This sonata was composed while Anthony was a 5th former at High School. It was first performed to him by University tutor and violinist, Chloe Moon. He subsequently revised it in 1981 and it was performed by Sydney Mannowitz (who recorded it for National Radio in 1984) and Mark Menzies.
