The New Zealand String Quartet take New Zealand music on a European Tour through Germany to Poland and the Czech Republic as well as the United Kingdom.
Getting permission for their guest artist, Richard Nunns, to bring his taonga puoro with him was a mission in itself: restrictions on the international movement of whalebone is something of a contentious issue outsdie of musical imperatives!
