One of the NZSO’s four tours to smaller centres in 2007. This work from Michael Williams is one of those in the series of NZSO commissions from New Zealand composers of pieces that feature the orchestra’s principal players as soloists, in this case, Robert Orr, Principal Oboe. Robert premiered the work in 2005.
