Radio NZ Concert feature the Sunrise piano album in its competition slot. Recordings from the album will feature on the broadcasts each morning and evening this week.

The album is the initiative of the Wellington Piano and Instrumental Group . The group realised that there was a need for inspiring, interesting and motivating New Zealand works for New Zealand pianists in the preliminary to about Grade 2 range. They called for scores from New Zealand composers and were delighted to be flooded with submissions from all over the world! Eventually they managed to settle on a selection of 59 pieces from 18 Kiwi composers.

Sunrise is available from WPIG and from SOUNZ (buy now) as well as selected music stores around New Zealand.
