Leading New Zealand choral composer, and Auckland Choral’s Deputy Music Director, David Hamilton leads the choir in a retrospective of his music from the fun of Monday’s Troll to the celebratory Te Deum, which was commissioned and premiered by Auckland Choral in 1986. David also presents two personal favourites of his from the standard choral repertoire.
The concert features Kate Spence (soprano), Ju Hyeon Han (soprano), Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua (tenor), Anna McGregor (bass clarinet), Auckland Youth Choir, Senior Chorale (Diocesan School for Girls), Kentoris (St Kentigern College), St Matthew’s Chamber Orchestra
