At times achingly lyrical, yet frequently igniting with a passion that verges on reckless, NZTrio’s Fire and Water tour is a showcase of the trio’s ability to dazzle both contemporary and classical music lovers.

Taking its name from the two New Zealand works (Ahi is maori for ‘fire’) the programme includes other works created within the last decade by composers from Brazil, the USA and Japan.
