The first set of NZSO-SOUNZ Readings for 2008 will be held at the Wellington Town Hall, conducted by Kenneth Young. Observers are welcome.

Mike Nock: Sketches for Bassoon and Orchestra (2mvts.)
Michael Williams: In Saecula Saeculorum

Colin Hemmingsen will play the solo bassoon part in the work by Mike Nock, which also features a jazz trio. Hemmingsen commissioned the piece with funding through Creative New Zealand.
