The Mimosa Wind Ensemble is Hugh Roberts (flute), Thomas Hutchinson (oboe), Todd Gibson-Cornish (bassoon) and Somi Kim (piano). These four young New Zealand musicians – with outstanding performances as winners in CMNZ’s Chamber Music Contests and section leaders with the NZSO National Youth Orchestra – are returning from studies in London and Paris for this national tour.
Programmes for this tour include a new commission supported by Creative New Zealand by Salina Fisher, ‘Unfinished Portrait for flute, oboe, bassoon & piano’.
